A NEW COACH AND A GENERATION FOCUSED ON THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN POLAND!
Guillaume Joli, former French international and Olympic champion, takes over as head coach of the French U21 men's team after leading the U17M. His arrival continues the development work led by the French Handball Federation. Succeeding Yohann Delattre, his mission is to nurture young talents and revitalize the EDF U21M, which finished 10th in the last Euro (see the inside reports below).
During the traditional 4 Nations tournament at the start of the year, the U21M showed great promise, securing victories against strong opponents like Germany (34-28) and Spain (41-32). These results reflect a confident team capable of competing with the best nations. The squad is built on a mix of experienced and young talented players, paving the way for a promising future. As coach Guillaume Joli emphasized: "You can feel the enthusiasm and the will to finish their youth journey in blue on a high note."

Shaping a team
The TIBY Handball tournament will serve as an excellent training ground and a key milestone in their international calendar as they prepare for the U20 World Championship in Poland. The goal: to maximize this team's potential and provide them with the means to reach their future ambitions. This guiding principle remains at the heart of the season as they gear up for upcoming international challenges.
"We have to adapt to all situations, which is crucial for the team's growth. The work continues, as the staff and I have identified key areas for improvement. The objective remains to progress with every game and be fully competitive in June for the World Championship. We still have room for improvement, and there are many aspects to refine."
YOUNG TALENTED PLAYERS
All these young talents compete weekly in the LNH Lidl Starligue and ProLigue. Reyhan ZUZO, Pierre-Alexis FAVRIL, Kylian PRAT, and Alban SIMONNET have already become promising figures in their leagues and on the international youth stage.
